I had always
loved the music from the Star Wars Trilogy, since I was
a child. When I could afford to buy the soundtracks, I
purchased the Star Wars Anthology which was great, but
still to my disappointment it didn't have all the music
from the movies.
Then A New
Hope Special Edition was released and what can I say,
but it doesn't get any better then this. You can not ask
for a more complete version of this soundtrack. It has
all the music from the movie, plus a look into a few different
versions of the Star Wars main title.
A New Hope
Special Edition is 2 cd's,
comes with a 30 page booklet with information on the music
tracks and pictures from the movie.
In my opinion this would probably
rank 2nd out of the 4 star wars soundtracks. There are
no tracks on here that I would say are bad. As you can
see the worst rating for a track was 3 stars.
I think a lot of people would consider this to be the
best of the Star Wars movies. I just think The Empire
Strikes Back is a little bit better, netherless 5/5 stars
.
