I had always
loved the music from the Star Wars Trilogy, since I was
a child. When I could afford to buy the soundtracks, I
purchased the Star Wars Anthology which was great, but
still to my disappointment it didn't have all the music
from the movies.
Then Return
Of The Jedi Special Edition was released and what can
I say, but it doesn't get any better then this. You can
not ask for a more complete version of this soundtrack.
It has all the music from the movie, plus added music
such as a few cut scenes and the new victory celebration
music.
Return Of
The Jedi Special Edition
is 2 cd's, comes with a 30 page booklet with information
on the music tracks and pictures from the movie.
In my opinion this would probably
rank 3rd out of the 4 star wars soundtracks. Although
there isn't much of a gap between them all because they
are all wonderfully done.
But overall this is truly a classic soundtrack and would
recommend it to anyone. 5/5 stars hands down.
